Born on February 17, 1971, in Downers Grove, Illinois, Denise Lee Richards moved to Oceanside, California, with her family when she was 15 years old.

After graduating from El Camino High School in 1989, Denise began modeling in Paris, Tokyo and New York. But despite the fame she had achieved, Denise wanted more. She decided to try her hand at acting and auditioned for various parts in television shows and movies.

She landed a string of guest appearances on television shows like Life Goes On, Saved by the Bell, Married with Children , Eerie, Indiana, Beverly Hills, 90210, and Seinfeld.Denise's stint on Seinfeld catapulted her into the limelight. In the 1993 episode, she played the young daughter of an NBC executive who was about to cut a deal with George and Jerry before he caught them looking down his daughter's blouse.
